Wonderful staying power. I suspect the EDTs are being clearanced as they are deeply discounted in the US. Something about the warm (not yet hot), wet air brings this to life. I think that adding the mandarin gives it a feeling of aromatherapy.

I see below that people believe this is discontinued; I couldn’t find anything official regarding that but I think it would be a shame. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette. Call me and my nose crazy, but yesterday it strongly reminded me of another scent. Recently I received the EDT as a swap and I passed through 3 phases: I like the EdP which is soft and powdery, but there is a certain note in the EdT which makes it unwearable for me.

L’Homme Ideal EDP can be found reasonably priced at fragrancex.com and eBay will be awhile before stock dries up. The two reviewers before me both mentioned occasional anosmia with respect to Mon Guerlain (EDP). Basically, it's like a reshaped octagon (eight sides), eight in Chinese and other Asian cultures is considered a lucky number. :). I prefer this over the original parfume concentration - it is more aromatic, and the freshness of the lavender really comes through. I might be in love. This is airier and brighter. Great to spray before bed. It is just GORGEOUS!

I couldn't think of what it was, but after some thinking I could grab my memory of it; it reminded me of miss dior ( I think the 2017 version).
